It’s almost exactly the same with the original Thrive Tablet, but just smaller in everything. They doing a pretty good job of correcting the size and the resolution from the original thrive, the thrive 7″ is less than a half inch thick, at .47-inch while the weighs just .88lbs. The screen of  this Toshiba 7-Inch Thrive Tablet  is 3.1 inches smaller than the original, but still in the same number of pixels than the original one, 1280×800 resolution on a 7-inch screen looks really good.

Like its big brother, Toshiba 7-Inch Thrive Tablet runs on the same Nvidia Tegra 2 Dual-core 1Ghz processor and comes in 16GB and 32GB model. The 7-inch tablet runs Android 3.2 Honeycomb instead of 3.1. A minor upgrade, but still called an upgrade. It also packs with a 5-MP rear camera with dual-LED flash capabilities and 2-MP camera on its front. Meanwhile, Toshiba 7-inch Thrive Tablet offers a more typical selection, including mini-USB and micro-HDMI sockets, a headphone jack, docking connector and a microSD slot, and also a Wi-Fi . lection, including mini-USB and micro-HDMI sockets, a headphone jack, docking connector and a microSD slot. Toshiba 7-Inch Thrive Tablet also has a 30-pin connector and will have all the docks and keyboards you could use — but almost definitely you won’t. Just like its original model, the slate also has the same Easy Grip textured rubber back panel, it’s doesn’t do so well with prints but still give a solid and durable sensation.

Toshiba confirmed that Toshiba 7-Inch Thrive Tablet won’t be able until early December, with a starting price should stay under $400.
