Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus Hits November 13 in US

Seems Samsung were ready to hit the tablet segment again, Samsung has just officially announces the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus. This tablet will replacing the original Samsung Galaxy Tab as the company’s 7-inch tablet front. The Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus is the fifth in Samsung’s Galaxy tablets – sixth if the 5.3-inch Galaxy Note is included.
The WiFi-only Galaxy Tab 7.0 plus comes with a 7-inch LCD with 1024 x 600 resolution, with weighs in at 345 g while the thickness is just 9.96 mm. Under the hood, there’ll be a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, the TouchWiz UI, 1GB of RAM, a 3 megapixel main camera around back with 720p HD video capture along with the 2 megapixel camera on the front. It will also some other features like accelerometer, digital compass, gyro and ambient light sensors. The upcoming device will be available in a 16GB and 32GB model. The Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus will feature an app called “Peel” which works as a smart remote TV app for all entertainment purposes, and this tablet has built-in infrared capabilities to control users home theater setup.
The Galaxy 7.0 Plus will be available through Best Buy, Amazon, Tiger Direct, Fry’s, and other retailers on November 13 while the pre-orders will start at select retailers on October 23rd. Only the 16 GB model has arrived so far, you can grab it for for $399.99. The the 32GB model will be available later this year or early 2012 with expected price about $499. No word on partnerships of the Galaxy tab 7.0 Plus with carriers yet.
