eFun has just released the Nextbook Premium 9 Tablet, the third line of Nextbook Premium Tablets from eFun. Previously, eFun had launched the Nextbook Premium 7 and nextbook Premium 8 – yes, the Permium 8 that had just released about 2 weeks ago. Just like its name, the Nextbook Premium 9 comes with a 9-inch capacitive display, along with a silver back panel and a bit of taste of red around the edge. Both of the Nextbook premium Tablet, including the 9, almost have the same specs, seems that the company point that the size really matter in the tablet segment.

The Nextbook Premium 9 binging up the basic version of Android 2.3 Gingerbeard Operating system, though the maker promises the Honeycomb upgrade will coming in the future. It also runs a 1GHz processor, a 2 megapixel front facing camera, 4GB of on-board memory which expandable via a MicroSD slot, WiFi connectivity, a built-in speaker, and a mini USB port – a bit throwback, perhaps.
The Nextbook Premium 9 is a quite slick tablet, especially its brushed metal in rear. The design is pretty good looking too, it has a solid looking but a bit weighty.

The tablet comes with recommended price tag for $299, but it’s expected to be slightly cheaper when the Nexbook Premium 9 ready in retailer stores for about $269 in November / December. Though the company promises for the lower price when it’s goes on sale, but seems it doesn’t enough to interest the folks to grab the upcoming tablet.
