Motorola has just introduced the Lapdock 100 for some of its high-end smartphones, now they announces the Lapdock 500 Pro, a new enhanced accessory fully compatible with the new DROID RAZR. The Lapdock 500 is an expanded model of the Lapdock 100, comes with a larger 14 inch screen and a more spacious keyboard and VGA out. And just like the Lapdock 100, the 500 will compatible with all dock enabled phones from Motorola using the micro HDMI and USB ports on the back.

The Lapdock 500 Pro measured in at 337.5mm x 249.8mm x 21.9mm, along with a large 14-inch high-resolution screen, which turns the DROID RAZR into a full desktop PC. The laptop features a full QWERTY keyboard with dedicated Android keys, an integrated webcam, an SD card reader, An SD card reader, two USB ports, and a VGA output that comes in handy when users need to share presentations, videos or a website on with larger groups. It also comes with an Ethernet connection which is rated for up to 100 megabits per second speeds. The Lapdock 500 Pro also supports full multitasking and features high-quality audio, and full desktop-like browsing via Firefox browser, according the Motorola. Not to mention the Motorola’s latest PC-like file manager, which allows to view, copy, paste, move or delete files on their smartphone, SD card or external drive much easier.

A bit difference with the Lapdock 100, the Lapdock 500 Pro equipped with a larger trackpad that supports two-finger scrolling, allowing for easier navigation within long documents or websites and through the phone’s screens.

The Lapdock 500 Pro is currently compatible with Motorola RAZR, but Motorola said that it will be compatible with future Motorola webtop-enabled smartphones. No word mentioned about this Lapdock 500 yet.
