Bigadgets: Dell XPS 14z Will Be Going On Sale in “Coming Weeks”.

Dell already unveiled its XPS 14z laptop at the IFA 2011 event, but there was no mention of when it would be released. But it’s been reported that Dell confirms the laptop will be available in “the coming weeks”, which means it should be at October. The Dell XPS 14z, like the 15z released back in May, undoubtedly have a similarity to the MacBook Pro line in all about packing full-on performance into its thin and light chassis. In addition, recently Dell is calling this XPS 14z as the “world’s thinnest fully featured laptop”.The XPS 14z will feature the same industrial design of the XPS 15z and will measure 13.19 x 9.21 x 0.9 inches. And a weight of 4.36 – depending on what you add/remove during customization.

The Dell XPS 14z will pack a thin bezel 14-inch display – Dell couldn’t confirm if it was the same LG Shuriken screen that’s in the Gateway ID47, a Core i5-2430M or Core i7-2640 CPU processor, NVIDIA Optimus graphics, a slot-loading optical drive, USB 3.0, and some other hard drive selection. The Dell XPS 14z is launching in China today and will be hitting the US and Europe sometime this fall. But there’s no any further information about the pricing of this Dell XPS 14z just now.
